RESIDENTS looking for some inspirational Christmas gifts are in luck.

The annual Christmas craft fair has been organised by Catshill Village Hall committee for Saturday, November 22.

The event takes place at Catshill Village Hall on Golden Cross Lane from 10am to 1pm and entrance is free.

There will be a variety of items on sale during the day, giving visitors an opportunity to buy some imaginative Christmas presents, all hand made by local people.

Stalls will include knitted handbags, wire works jewellery, handmade cards, felt-work gifts, soft furnishings and needlecraft accessories, textile jewellery, a bead and ribbon sale stall and personalised gifts.

A café, serving tea, coffee and cold drinks, will be open during the fair with home made cakes available to eat in or take away.

All proceeds from the café will go towards the village hall maintenance fund.

Fair organiser Loraine Cooke said: “We are really looking forward to the day, we have a large variety of stalls, all selling different items, and its free for visitors to come along and have a look at what's on offer from local craftspeople.

"It’s a perfect opportunity to get ahead on the Christmas gift list.”
