NATIONAL Spa Week is hovering just on the horizon.

Next month, from November 3-7, UK spas and salons will be taking part in the annual nationwide campaign organised by the UK Spa Association and which is aimed at increasing awareness of the mental and physical benefits regular spa treatments can bring.

During this week, spas and salons up and down the country will be offering visitors exciting new spa packages, exclusive deals, competitions to win a whole host of spa goodies and participation in a range of fundraising events in aid of this year's partnered charity, the Macmillan Cancer Trust.

There will be spas and salons to suit all requirements from destination spas such as Rockliffe Hall in Co Durham, Ragdale Hall in Leicestershire, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Cheshire, PH20 at the Park House in West Sussex, the Grand Hotel and Spa Sirene in Jersey and Y Spa at Wyboston Lakes in Bedfordshire to city spas such as the Langham Hilton, K Spa at K West, Spa Verta and Thai Square in London as well as a choice of high street spas and salons.

This year's theme is 'Meet and Treat', an opportunity for spa visitors to discover and treat themselves to new spa experiences and take advantage of some spectacular special offers at great prices.

There will also be opportunities to win a number of £500 plus luxury spa hampers courtesy of leading spa skincare companies including [ comfort zone ], Elemis, Germaine de Capuccini, Murad and Thalgo.

This year's National Spa Week will be accessible through the Good Spa Guide website www.goodspaguide/nationalspaweek.

Customers will be able to easily search for their nearest spa participating in NSW with a direct link to that spa's own website where full details of the National Spa Week offers and activities will be listed along with details for bookings and enquiries. In addition, the Good Spa Guide will be running a '7 Days of Spa' promotion enabling visitors to win lots of exciting spa prizes.

Announcing the launch of National Spa Week 2014, the UK Spa Association's Chair, Charlie Thompson, said: “Spa has now become an important lifestyle activity but just two per cent of the UK population are regular spa goers.

“National Spa Week is a welcoming open door to everyone to discover our world of spa and the many benefits in health and well-being this can bring. During this period visitors will be able to book in for some fantastic spa packages at a range of locations and prices whilst helping to raise valuable funds for our partner charity, the Macmillan Cancer Trust. We're looking forward to a busy November and seeing lots of new faces!”
