RUBERY Drama Group are producing the 1970s farce Darling Mr London by Anthony Marriott and Bob Grant at the Beacon Church Centre, Whetty Lane in Rubery.
The play is set in a period before mobile phones and Intercontinental Direct Dialling.
Edward works at a Continental Telephone exchange where he often chats up women operators.
When four of these ladies arrive at his home he has an evening he will never forget as he struggles to conceal them from his wife, mother-in-law and lodger, who is a vicar.
The play runs from Thursday to Saturday, October 23 to 25 starting at 7.30pm.
