RESIDENTS are being invited to drink great ale, enjoy good food and be entertained in some of Studley's finest watering holes, as part of the village's very first beer festival.
The community event, which runs from September 26 to 28, sees seven pubs participating this year with the hope that a successful weekend will make the event larger year on year.
Each pub will be running its own range of guest beers and will have their own schedule of entertainment throughout the weekend.
A festival spokesman said: "With over 50 beers on offer, we are sure that we will have something to suit everyone’s taste, so get your friends and families together and enjoy the beautiful village of Studley.
"Don’t forget to keep an eye and ear out for the Aelfgythe Border Morris, a women’s Border Morris side, based locally in Alvechurch who will be performing throughout the pubs over the weekend."
Pubs participating include Victoria Works, Shakespeare Inn, Barley Mow, The Bell Inn, The Swan Inn, The Railway Inn and The Little Lark.
