AS the world’s longest running radio soap opera, The Archers is as much of a British institution as Wimbledon and strawberries and cream.
With its roots just down the road at Hanbury, it's always been an important part of the Worcestershire landscape.
In recent years there have seen some shocking and addictive storylines including Nigel’s tragic demise and Lillian’s clandestine affair with Paul.
On July 13 Archers scriptwriter and author of The Ambridge Chronicles, Jo Toye will be visiting Bromsgrove's Artrix to take people behind the scenes to reveal some fascinating - and surprising - facts about the storylines, past and present.
Words presents Jo Toye is at the Artrix on Sunday, July 13 starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the event cost £12 and are available from the box office on 01527 577330 or online at artrix.co.uk.
