A TALENTED trio from Droitwich Spa have made it through to the next stage of a national music competition.
Crooked Empire were sent through to the regional semi-final stage of The Surface Unsigned Festival after performing in front of music industry experts.
They showcased their brand of indie rock at The Rainbow in Birmingham.
Crooked Empire made it to the semi-finals after polling the most votes on the evening, as well as getting votes from all of the music industry guests.
The Surface Unsigned Festival is the only national live music event that brings unsigned bands and artists to the attention of all aspects of the music industry. It is a festival of new music held throughout the country in aid of discovering and promoting new talent.
The Spa three-piece are now set to perform in the competition's semi-finals at The Asylum Bar, Hampton Street, Birmingham, on August 1 at 8pm.
They will also be performing in Victoria Square as part of the Droitwich Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, July 11, at 3pm.
