More than half of the homes in the second phase of a flagship Dudley housing scheme have been snapped up, as Keepmoat prepares to open a new view home at its latest development.

The award-winning house-builder has sold out on phase one at its Friars Gate development, and is preparing to open a new Hayfield-style ‘view’ home on phase 2 on Saturday, February 16, in addition to the existing show home on the site.

Friars Gate will see a total of 314 two and three bedroom homes built as part of the transformation of the former North Priory estate over the next four years - creating a whole new community.

Local house hunters will be able view the three bedroom Hayfield view home, which will showcase the size of the property and its newly landscaped garden.

Work on the Friars Gate project began in January 2011,and  reservations are being taken for Phase Three of the project, which is not due to be released until April this year.

Eamonn McInerney, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Keepmoat, said: “This is a major development for what is set to be a brand new community and the popularity of the home we’ve seen shows that this will be a thriving area in the heart of Dudley.”

Prices for homes in Phase Two of the scheme start from £89,995 for a two-bedroom home and £119,995 for a three-bedroom property, rising to £124,995 for a two-and-a-half storey, three-bedroom home.

A number of Government-backed schemes are available at the development to support first time buyers looking to take their first step on the property ladder.

The show home and sales office at Priory Road, Dudley, are open seven-days-a-week from 10am – 5pm. For more information call 01384 456320 or visit www.Keepmoat.com
