Three properties with a combined value of £550,000 were sold by auctioneers Halls at a successful collective auction in Kidderminster last week.

The Hawthorn Bush, Cleobury Road, Bewdley, a substantial six bedroomed detached house in need of full modernisation but with wonderful rural views on the outskirts of the town, sold well for £320,000.

A Victorian semi-detached house in need of significant refurbishment and modernisation,  53, Lea Street, Kidderminster raced away from its guide price of £75,000 to sell for £88,000.

Marketed as a good investment opportunity, 231, Hoo Road, Kidderminster comprised two self-contained apartments in good order in a detached property. Following keen interest, this property sold for £140,000.

The final lot, 20 acres of productive pasture fields off Winwoods Lane, Kinlet, Bewdley, was not sold and remains for sale by private treaty, with offers based on £150,000.

The well attended auction was conducted by Roger Sadler of Halls’ Kidderminster office at the Gainsborough House Hotel in Kidderminster on October 24.
