IT’S a case of going, going, gone at Taylor Wimpey’s popular Henley Grange development in Halesowen where just three properties now remain for sale.

The three-bedroom Wessex design is priced from £149,995 and is available to buy with just a 5% deposit under schemes such as NewBuy and FirstBuy.

Henley Grange is a well-established development of 154 mews-style homes and apartments in a semi-rural location in the Belle Vale area near to the River Stour, attractive woodland and public open space.

The three-bedroom terraced Wessex is ideal for a growing family, featuring an open plan living/dining room with French doors leading to the rear garden, a modern fitted kitchen and useful cloakroom. Upstairs there is an impressive master bedroom with en suite, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “Henley Grange has been a really popular development and we now have a well established community here.

"The three remaining properties are all the Wessex design, which has sold really well, so we’d urge interesting purchasers to visit us as soon as possible.

"People who want to buy, but who thought they couldn’t because they didn’t have enough deposit, should definitely get in touch as we have schemes available on these properties which means they may only need a deposit of £7,500.”

Two schemes are available at Henley Grange designed to make it even easier to get on or move up the property ladder.

FirstBuy, for example, works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need to pay a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage.

The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold, so the price you pay now for the Wessex design is from just £119,996. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and the total household earning should be less than £60,000.

NewBuy, the Government and housebuilder-backed initiative, is available to both first-time buyers and home movers. The scheme enables credit-worthy purchasers to buy with just a 5% deposit with a competitive mortgage through a number of High Street lenders.

Halesowen is a great place to call home. The town centre has excellent facilities including the Cornbow Centre, which is filled with high street names, and a regular farmer’s market. There is also a selection of bars, restaurants and coffee shops as well as good sports and leisure facilities locally, including parks and golf courses.
