IT was love at first sight for Jane Woodall and family when they visited The Briars in Kidderminster
Jane, partner David Smith and daughters Jade, 20, Lauren, 15, and Tara, nine, found that the properties from Elan Homes offered the space they craved and were ideally located.
They were able to move to their dream home with the help of part exchange, which meant they didn’t have to worry about selling the property they were moving from.
Jane explains: “We needed to move to give us more space. The Briars was only a mile from where we were living so we went to look around and fell in love with this house. We didn’t want to miss out while we tried to sell our old home and with part exchange we didn’t have to. It gave use peace of mind and meant that we didn’t have to worry about getting caught up in chain that could delay our move.
“We had great customer service right the way through the home buying process and Elan made it really easy.”
The family moved to a four-bedroom detached Alvechurch-style home.
“With three girls, additional bathrooms were a must and our new home is ideal as it has two en-suites, plus a family bathroom. All four bedrooms are doubles so the girls all have a proper space they can call their own,” Jane adds.
“Buying a new build home meant that we were able to put our own stamp on it as we had the chance to choose the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom tiles. The other great thing is that for the foreseeable future we won’t have to worry about home improvements.”
Located in Habberley Road, The Briars is an intimate development of just 13 four-bedroom homes ideally placed between the Worcestershire countryside and Kidderminster town centre.
Easy access to the ring road and the M5 has attracted interest from commuters who work in Birmingham but want to raise their families away from the hustle and bustle.
“The location fulfils all of our requirements,” Jane says. “It’s ideal for schools for Lauren and Tara and because the homes back on to woodland we have somewhere to walk our dogs.”
There are now only four homes still available at The Briars, where prices start from £269,995.
