Child's scooter stolen from Westlands garden

DROITWICH Spa Police are appealing for help to locate a unique child’s scooter that was stolen from the rear garden of a property in the town.

The bright red scooter was taken from an address in Westlands overnight from Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23.

It is described as a smaller version of a Lambretta scooter and is battery powered with the maximum speed of five miles per hour.

Droitwich Town West’s Community Support Officer, Alun Jones, is keen for the distinctive cycle to be returned to the rightful owner. He said: "Whoever took the scooter will now be aware that the ignition key is missing and it is of no use to anyone. I would appeal for any information to assist in returning it.”
