VINES Lane in Droitwich was temporarily closed on Friday, May 9 after a tree fell down close to the Gardener’s Arms pub.
The tree which was in the grounds of the pub, fell across the road, causing some damage to a Seat Leon parked at the curb, just before 10am.
The road was made passable by the Highways department, and police left the site at noon, with part of the tree left in place as the pub’s responsibility.
