A former JLS singer is set to launch the Royal Three Counties Show's 2024 Tractor Tour.

TV personality and award-winning smallholder JB Gill, Rogue Farmer's Ally Hunter Blair and children from the area came together to officially launch the tour for the show.

Known as one of the most significant food and farming shows in central England, the event is held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern from Friday 14 to Sunday, June 16.

Ahead of the event, the show is set to hit the road with its tractor, which will visit a range of iconic regional venues throughout spring.

Aside from Gill, other special guests such as BBC Countryfile and The One Show presenter Matt Baker MBE and fellow Countryfile presenter John Craven OBE, with both set to take part in Q&A sessions.

Also, the 2023 winner of Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off, Matty Edgell, will showcase his baking skills on stage at the Food and Drink Theatre.

Gill will also host a live reading of his book ‘Ace and the Animal Heroes’.

Attendees can also go to a meet-and-greet with the CBeebies presenter, and get a copy of his book signed at the Smallholders Theatre.

Show lead Alice Arnold said: "The whole team are thrilled to launch the 2024 Tractor Tour, which embodies our key themes of rural life, countryside, food and farming."

"We are looking forward to seeing all the ‘selfies’, as people travel around the region in search of our little green tractor."

The tour will be at Attwell Farm Park in Redditch until Monday, May 6, with visits to Westons Cider in Ledbury (May 13-27) and Hatton Adventure World (May 27-June 10) also on the itinerary before eventually returning to the showground for the show itself.

Advance day tickets to the show are currently on sale, with tickets available for £23 for adults, and children under 16 going free.
